Our mission is to augment learning opportunities for our students, provide support for our dedicated teachers, and promote community during and after school hours.

What we do

As a parent/caregiver of a student at Blue Mountain Elementary, you are already a member of the PTO team. Our school thrives when we have more engagement in our meetings, events, and volunteer opportunities. Our success is made possible by countless volunteers contributing their time and talent.

We invite you to get involved - your children and our community are well worth it!

The Blue Mountain Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) was established in 2008, coinciding with the opening of Blue Mountain Elementary School in Longmont, Colorado. Our mission is to enhance learning and promote community during and after school hours. We do this by encouraging the involvement of parents and legal guardians and reinforce positive communication and cooperation between faculty, students, parents, legal guardians, and the community at large.
